Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things people ask most.

I can't clock in — there's no button

Clock-in appears on the Today screen for a project you're confirmed on, on a day you're scheduled. If you don't see it, check that your deal is confirmed (signed deal memo) and that today is a working day on that project.

Where is the reject button?

There isn't one — by design. Timesheets and invoices are either approved or have changes proposed. To push back on hours or an offer, send a proposed change or a counter instead. See Timesheet changes.

My accepted offer still isn't confirmed

Accepting an offer only unlocks the deal memo. You're confirmed once the producer sends the memo and you sign it. See Deal memos.

My pay looks wrong

Pay is calculated from your clock times and the project's work rules. Open the day in Hours & pay to see the full line-by-line breakdown — premiums, overtime, sleep-in and turnaround can all appear in ways that aren't obvious. How pay is calculated explains each part. If it still looks wrong, raise it with your approver via a proposed change.

I can't send or sign a deal memo

The button stays disabled until all required details and your typed signature are complete. Scroll up and fill in the inline form (company details for producers; name, tax number and IBAN for crew).

Sending a deal memo says I'm out of crew-days

Your balance doesn't cover the production days that deal would confirm. Nothing already signed is affected — the schedule, hours, approvals and invoices all carry on — and you can top up by emailing info@crewshift.app. See Crew-day credits.
