Welcome to CrewShift
CrewShift is where film productions and their crew handle the business side of a shoot together — building the schedule, agreeing rates, tracking hours, and getting paid. This short guide explains how the pieces fit together.
What you can do here
- Producers create projects, build their crew, negotiate deals, decide who approves hours, and pay invoices.
- Crew accept offers, sign their deal, clock in and out on shooting days, and invoice for approved hours.
Both sides always see the same up-to-date information, so there's no chasing spreadsheets or emails.
Finding your way around
The bar along the bottom of the screen is your main navigation:
- Today (crew) or Dashboard (producer) — your home screen.
- Projects — everything for one production, organised into tabs.
- Inbox — anything waiting on you: offers, deal memos, timesheets to approve, and invoices.
The Inbox is the heart of the app. Whenever something needs your attention it appears there, and a dot shows on the Inbox tab.
Getting help
Look for the small ? icons next to the trickier features — each one opens a short explanation right where you are, without leaving the screen.
You can open this Help Center any time from your profile, and search every guide using the box at the top of the help home page.
